God of War: the Movie
ZOMFG!! Mis plegarias a Odin por fin han sido escuchadas y todo parece apuntar a que en 2009 tendremos una película de esta sanguinaria, violenta y dramática obra de arte de videojuego.
Será dirigida por Brett Ratner (Red Dragon, X-Men, Rush Hour) y ni más ni menos que David Jaffe (Twisted Metal, God of War) es quién ha escrito el guión para Universal Studios.
La conversación que tuvieron estos dos personajes fue algo así:
Had a good lunch with the producer of the GOD OF WAR movie a few weeks ago. Some big news COULD be coming on that front soon but nothing set in stone yet. But yeah, the project is still alive! And looking strong!
BUT the funny part is, I was just sitting there kind of gushing over movies, what to go see, what was coming out, etc. Just being a fanboy. And he- the producer of the GOW flick and many other movies, including this summer’s GET SMART, which looks really funny- was just so nonchalant about the whole thing.

Tuve un buen almuerzo con el productor de la película de God of War hace unas semanas. Unas buenas noticias PODRÍAN venir de ese frete pero aún no hay nada sólido, pero si, el proyecto esta vivo y se ve fuerte.
PERO la parte divertida es que, solo estaba sentado hablando de películas, cuales ir a ver, cuales iban a salir, etc. solo siendo un fanático. Y él -el productor de la película de GoW y otras, incluyendo la de este verano GET SMART, que se ve muy graciosa – platicaba despreocupadamente sobre todo el asunto.
De momento no hay más información, pero yo ya estoy babeando esperando que salga algo como 300… o por lo menos que llegue a parecerse a Beowulf (no me gustó mucho, pero así es la historia).
